Golden Gear Cottage

Golden Gear Cottage is nestled into the south west coastal path and is part of the hamlet of Treath on The Helford River. It is clearly visible from the north side and the water as the north side wall falls down to the shoreline. The cobbled beach is accessible from the coast path and is well worth the climb down the granite steps, to rest a while and enjoy the views up and down the river. Here I wanted to capture the feel of the evening shade and light, the warmth and gentleness in the foliage that caresses the buildings going deep into the surrounding woodland .
