The first real sign of spring for me are the wonderful magnolia trees at Bar House on the Helford River. This tree, above the slip way and boat-store is the first most magnificent specimen. Whilst winter still clings to the rest of the garden this tree flourishes into bloom, full of hope and forward thinking!
